Janice founded  Focused Education Group in 2022 and is a partner in Focused Leadership Group. Prior to her consulting work, Janice is extremely proud of her 25+ years of experience improving educational systems. She is an engaging and thought-provoking speaker and consultant who specializes in schools, non-profit organizations and supporting the growth of individual and collective leaders;  enhancing their collective approach, and creating amazing environments for people to thrive.

Darren Sinke – Senior Associate

Darren was recently the CEO of a Seniors Housing Society for over a decade, and joined the Focused Leadership Group team on a part-time basis to help support organizational and leadership development. Darren possesses a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA).   Darren has also successfully launched is own consulting practice (Sinke Consulting).

Elisa Brosseau, Senior Associate

Elisa is a bilingual governance leader with over a decade of experience guiding high-performing teams at the board table in municipal, non-profit, and corporate settings. She combines her expertise in governance with an education and strong background in Human Resources, bringing boardrooms practical insight on HR best practices. Known for her strong leadership, Elisa draws on her experience as Mayor and as a board chair in every role she takes on.  A proud Métis professional and registered member of the Otipemisiwak Métis Government, she brings lived experience, having contributed to Indigenous governance development through constitutional roundtables. Elisa is passionate about effective governance and helps boards reach their highest potential by bringing clarity, strategy, and strong leadership.
